The manufacturing process at Everest Herbs integrates production and packaging equipment lines with exacting food engineering and safety standards. We have achieved operational efficiency with customized spice production equipment. Our engineers employ innovative methods to further clean and process spices as required by our discerning clientele. The equipment in our factory is used to:
The above manufacturing processes ensure that the product is not only clean & sterile but also within the specified physical and chemical parameters.
At Everest Herbs, we work hard to earn the trust of local and global communities by acting in a socially responsible manner. We strive to create a more sustainable world, taking steps to ensure the safety and reliability of our products while carefully considering the impact of our business activities on the environment. Additionally, we follow strict compliance and corporate governance policies. Together, these efforts serve to enhance the overall value of our company.
We have developed and upgraded quality and sanitation control systems to ensure product safety. We enforce strict quality and safety controls at every stage of the supply chain, from raw materials procurement and product development to production and distribution. In addition, our cross-organizational Quality Assurance Committee maintains comprehensive oversight of safety assurance.
At Everest Herbs, we place great emphasis on all factors that contribute to achieving quality assurance. Our food safety management plans are supported by the professional allocation of machinery processing and highly skilled labor. This is applied to the entire production process, starting with farming, drying, sorting, processing, sampling, storing, analysis, packaging, handling, and shipping. Our farms provide a naturally built shield from pesticide residues, working in clean environmental conditions.
We place our production facility in the heart of the main farm, ensuring that all production procedures are linked smoothly from reception through to natural drying, storage, processing, and packing.
Our packing department focuses on conformance to specifications, ensuring the absence of defects through a well-managed process that follows EU standards, including hygiene regulations (EC No 8522(P41)).
We conduct strict quality control, with contamination tests including physical and chemical analysis, such as pesticide, microbiological, and aflatoxin testing. These are carried out according to current EU pesticide regulations for conventional products and BNN Guidance for organic products in EU-accredited national and international labs, such as the Central Laboratory of Residue Analysis of Pesticides and Heavy Metals in Food – Egypt.
Our Quality Assurance process is the most important component of our total supply chain. We test our products multiple times at every point of the supply chain to ensure the highest quality and product consistency. The Everest Herbs Quality Assurance program consists of a fully-integrated QC lab with testing capabilities on physical, chemical, micro/macro-sanitary, and microbiological parameters, as well as plant sanitation and inspection standards.
The program involves the expertise of our agronomists, chemists, microbiologists, food engineers, and various quality control personnel. The program includes:
